MDS:

I currently have 4 of these Receivers and NEVER a problem with one.

Make sure your FailSafe is Hitec compatable. There are different units for different Receivers.

MDS;

I would suspect either Crystal or internal danmage to the Receiver from a crash. Try a different crystal set, otherwise something is wrong with the RX. If it is brand New, I would contact Hitec directly. Good luck.

Default re failsafe

What brand is the failsafe? I have had a couple of venom units play up with similar effects. Both times it was a factory fault.

I know that some People will not like this but, just run without the Failsafe. I've ALWAYS used a Throttle Return Spring and a Rubber Band on the barrel and never had a runaway.
If you get hit by some Idiot turning on his Radio in the pits, time to have a up close and personal conversation with that Guy.
