I have an HPI RS4 with a starter box that will not start
new glow plug , has fuel
the starter box is spinning, but it does not sound like the motor is turning over
I pull the glow plug and it turns over fine
wheel on box is aligned with fly wheel
what else should I look for

I realized the motor was not spinning, thought bad compression, started taking apart and saw the flywheel just spinning on crank.
It rounded off on the inside and no slots to lock on to the crank

There are no keyways at all the flywheel simply is clamped onto a taper on the collet which also clamps on the crank. Have you tried simply tightening it up?

it does not have the original parts, race clutch, etc. I am not the builder I bought it this way. The crank has flat spots on it and the flywheel fits on them so it will not spin by itself ? The fly wheel just spins on the crank now so when you use the starter box it just spins the flywheel, every thing is tight.
