I ran them for a few years and they work great. I used a 1mm spacer on the axle so it doesn't rub the rear upright.

Good luck and keep the foam side down.

I ran them a few years ago and the rim was sloppy on the rear axle.... not in/out, but diameter wise- the hole was too big.

I hear they have corrected this now, but I can get Jaco's cheaper than the Twister's, so I run them.

I have run twister tires and loved them. I bought them from Ron Atomic when he was running/selling them. Never had an issue with them. When I ran them down past the legal ROAR diameter, I used them on my electric car on our local carpet track (still using them). The rims can take a beating (as far as hits off the boards).

I had no problem with sedan rims... I ran both styles 1/10th and 1/8/ The 1/8 rims were the ones most everyone noticed were sloppy on the axle. If I find it true that they have corrected this maybe I'll start buying them again- I buy over $1000 of tires a year.

I'd be glad to receive a trial set

Can anybody confirm whether the rims fit properly now ?

Here in Australia we either pay about Aus$70-80 (US$58-65) per set of 4 from the LHS or we shop the internet . Bernard at Stormdiscount will do them for about Aus$32 (US$26) per set of 4 delivered if we order in bulk but I need to know if they will fit properly . I don't really need 40 sets that don't fit .

Or is there somewhere else I should be looking?

If Twister is still being made by ATS there is no issue with the 1/8th rims it has been corrected since last year

Ok , so we ordered 40 sets of fronts and 40 sets of rears from http://www.storm-discount.com/index.php?newlang=english

Service was awesome , they took only 10 days to reach Melbourne , Australia from the Netherlands .

Price was awesome , AUS$33.50 (USD$27.35 on todays exchange rate) for a each set of front and rears (4 tires)

They fit my MRX4-R perfectly . Rims look to be as good as Jacos . Tire diameters are 78.5mm rear and 70.5mm front out of the box .

I can't wait to try them . I'll let you all know how they go when I take them for a run later in the week .
