it is made of gasket paper and seals off the parts where the manifold and engine connect.

Your motor should have come with a gasket to sit between your manifold and the engine. If the motor has been used a lot and the gaskets are getting old, you can ask your LHS for a replacement.

Generally speaking you'll be fine but if it bothers you, go to your LHS and purchase the gaskets and replace them for peace of mind. But, a oily chassis is just part of running Nitro. As long as it isn't excessive amounts of oil then you're fine. Just make sure you strip the car down and clean it frequently.
