The New Sealing Expansions ( as recommended by Ted ) have been completed. Gary is also posting pictures of this on the Club site www.ontariooneeighth.com

This from our Club Site - Pictures on the Forum under Protoform Shadow near the bottom www.ontariooneeighth.com

"Here's a few photos of my pre-production Shadow alongside the Parma R10. Dale has lowered the production version front fenders by about 4-5mm. The detail at the rear wing/side fence intersection has also been revised. Interesting to see that the wing and sides are lower than the R10."

I've been advised that Proline has the Shadow in stock and are currently shipping to distributors. Someone posted a link to Tower Hobbies on the RC Tech Shadow thread. Has anyone purchased a Shadow body from Tower Hobbies? If it's available to the public, it's legal for the Can-Am Challenge. If it's not readily available, then it will be allowed for testing in practice only.

Gary,

Yeah I checked Tower as well and they are out-of-stock. Now I am not sure if that means they are already sold out or never received them yet. Looking at a post in the Shadow thread here on RCTECH, Kamikazee Hobbies from the west coast said 2 weeks (as of yesterday). It may be hard for anyone to get one even if the west coast (near Pro-Line) can't get one yet.

The Protoform Shadow is not in stock at Competition Products, Horizon Hobby or Tower Hobbies. Sorry, they will not be legal for use at the Can-Am Challenge.

Looking for some help for this race. Steve Webster is the RC Pro official for this event and he is bringing some of the event shirts with him but I need to ship the remainder from our shirt printer in CT. Problem is shipping is about $200 to have them there in time.... the plaques cost me $174 to ship earlier this week. I'm looking for someone that is driving to this event from the US that would be willing to carry them for me even if I have to over night them to someone it will be cheaper than shipping them to Canada.

thanks
Carlton

Okay I have it taken care of one of our offroad guys lives in Detroit so we will ship the shirts there and Steve can pick them up when he lands at the Detroit airport.

Thanks for the quick responses and emails offering help.

Tomorrow we start. It will be interesting to see how the expanded sealer in some corners will effect Lap Times. Will the 18.779 Lap Record be shattered this weekend? Who will have Bragging Rights?

The CAN AM CHALLENGE RC PRO Great Lakes Division Race - practice starts tomorrow.

I'd like to thanks all the racers who attended our event, it was all of you who helped make the event fun . I had a blast racing, watching and laughing.
Also special thanks to Gary Swayze, and Patrick Chan for running a smooth weekend and all those who stayed and helped tear down. Great Job.
Hope everyone had fun and look forward to next year!!
