hi,
i am having problem while i was putting up my 8.1R. When i put my engine with engine mount onto the chassis, i found the cab of the engine when i have to turn it with angle to stay away hitting the fuel tank for full throttle, the cab is diagonally hitting the radio plate, i have the photo attached.
can someone help me to understand why it is please! have i missed to put up something?
thanks!

rotate the ball end linkage on the carb about 180 degrees from where it is now.

yes, i did. on my previous 8.0, right, the cab doesn't have to rotate to stay away the fuel tank as this 8.1.
but on this 8.1r, i have to rotate the cabreuator to certain angle, even with the ball link rotated too.
you can see from my pitcure that it is the throttle is slinding open with a angles to hit to the radio plate, like digging in to the radio plate. please help!

rotate the carb back towards the tank, and rotate the ball end away from the tank. there is a happy medium that works.

I ran a new setup this past weekend at the CP track here in SoCal. The car was definitely better (more aggressive) than before, and will be pretty close to what I start with at Toledo. I will try to get it posted here this week.

Default Motonica at the World Championships

I have posted a few photos of the Motonica cars being run by the factory drivers at the World Championships being currently held in Lostallo, Switzerland.

Some of the major changes is the new upper deck which uses a Serpent fuel tank for lowering the center of gravity along with some other optional parts

more photos in my blog
