interesting, do you find that backing out from the bottom to be more consistent than 'eyeballing an equal position' from where the screw heads just enter the clutch body?

I try to match the 2 screws by counting how many turns each one gets threaded into the shoes and I tighten them to the point where the 2 shoes are difficult to pry apart with my fingers. The 2 speed is the same as the one in the P8.0R so the build is the same.

Hi Guys

I am a long time Mugen driver (4X), I love the look of the P81

Now the million dollar question , is it faster than the mugen?

This is our track in Adelaide Australia last week during our Championships

Stevn Jovanovic Team Driver Tqed with a P81

Track is low grip

Thanks

I don't know about faster, but it is just as easy, if not easier, to set up. The car after the build is ready to go off the bat. Which is a huge plus. However, be ready to do a LOT of parts cutting! Oof! As the saying goes, "the best apples are the hardest ones to get."

And the car will definitely be perfect for that track. You should definitely try one out.

You will be quite happy with either the P81 or the P8.0R 08. Both cars can be setup well for both low bite and high bite conditions and I am sure you will get the proper support from your Motonica importer.

Hey Garen or Arno, I have noticed that I have recently started having problems with my servo mounting screws are coming loose! I know the screws terminate into plastic, and I do use rubber grommets for my servos to minimize interference from the vibration, but I have recently started noticing my screws are coming loose! Have either of you had this issue as well?

It is troubling me a bit. I may try longer screws to remedy this. Also, are there any good servo arms (aluminum or plastic) that you guys recommend using?

Haven't had that problem. Try longer screws and clean the screws before installing them.
I use Dynamite aluminum horns.
