Made this spring chart for the p8.0r

Motonica white and mugen white should be comparable.

Gold springs were discontinued but are now re-continued, at least according to the new pricelist.

That is interesting...

Softer springs on a foam car? Isn't the goal to go with firmer springs for better grip and steering? Unless I am missing something here...

Harry, the P81 will come with the white springs. We will begin do our best to find a setup that everyone here in the US can use as a baseline as soon as possible. Once we have a baseline, we will start to come up with track specific setups. Personally, I will use only Motonica springs, as I have done so for the past 18+ months. If the stock springs are too soft, then I will use any of the stiffer springs available. The setups I/we come up with will be based on Motonica springs. All these springs are in stock and readily available. I hope this brings to an end the spring discussion.

The spring discussion is pretty much over. Scotty answered my question in much detail. Thank you very much again Scotty!

I just needed a comparison of springs to Motonica springs, namely because of what is immediately available to me if I need to change my setup to suite my driving style. Not a bash or anything, but it gives me something to work with until setups are available. Then once setups for different track styles are available, I will be sure to launch an order your way.

I think you are reading too much into the "soft" and "hard" designations. They are only comparisons between the other springs for the cars, not between ALL springs for EVERY car. A soft spring for a 1/8th onroad car would be way too hard for a rubber tire tc on asphalt for instance.

Merci!

But I was talking about 8th scale on-road. Not comparison to touring cars. I pretty much gathered the difference a while ago.

Well then, let me put it another way. The soft spring is called soft because it is softer than the other springs available for the car. It is still a fairly stiff spring.

Thanks bud.

Now I am just getting jittery to build the P81. I have my R11 body, my P909 body, tire truer is ready to go, spare receiver, transponder, Hudy All-In-One setup station (on the way), etc. The wait is killing me!!

I wanna smell that nitro exhaust again, until my lungs bleed.

There was some issues. They should be shipped out today or Monday. 10 days to arrive here in the US. Then however long from there when orders are shipped out.

That was what I gathered from my email.
