Hi, all-
Just got my car from Garen this past week, starting to build- extremely impressed with the quality of the kit! This is my 2nd car since getting back into the hobby after about 30 years out of R/C. This forum is a great source of info- looking forward to the pleasure of building this car!

Would like to get some inputs on servo recommendations for the car. I'll be using a Futaba 2.3 Ghz radio... do some of you prefer other brand receiver/servo combo's in this car?
Thanks-
Wes

Kenny and Wes, welcome aboard.

I use Airtronics 361 and 362 servos, which have recently been replaced with digital versions...I don't recall the model numbers on them.

Hello everyone,

It has been a while, but i still will be racing Motonica next year, i'm very satisfied about it.
And looking what they are making for next year, and some new factory drivers they contracted, shasa Lackner from Swiss and Oscar Cabezas from Spain, both where racing for Serpent, it looks very promissing.
found some pictures from the Swiss distributor, have a look and say what you have to say about it.
See you
Stefan Koenders.

Wow that car looks hot, but the new moto looks a bit normal now.
Question 4 you moto freaks, when is that bad boy gonna be out?
When could i expect to have her on my pit table.

Welcome all new Motonica users /racers

I'm so glad many people using it. At my place and area, I'm the only one using it seriously even though we have the main distributor locally here. Plus point, I have all the parts just for myself.. but at the same time, negatively, I'm the only one doing the testing and running. Pretty hard in the pit area.. no one to ask. All depend on the internet and in this thread for setup and latest info.

Anyway, glad that Motonica is moving forward. With the coming of the new Motonica P81, I'm sure happy to try the coming conversion - hopefully.

Looks a like a Mugen now. No surprise really, considering Stefano Solaroli did drive a Mugen before.

Are you sure?
On the Motonica site europe they say something different.
They say they will come with a conversion to built a P8.0R2008 to a P8.1.

Are u sure? Because my english is horrible, but my italian is not . And it says there will be some kind of "help" to REPLACE the old P.8R with a new P.81.
If then things will change and there will be an upgrade kit, ok.... But "someone" told me there will not be because too much parts are different .
Bye

I think the only parts that might be the same with the P8.0R are the transmition and fuel tank.

Everything else from the photos of the prototype look new.
