Hey Guys,

Had my very first race yesterday with the new class 1/8th scale, it was a very good result with TQ 3rd and overal finishing 3rd.

Good friend of mine with a P81 finished 1st then it was MRX4 and then myself.

I must admit the car was very easy to drive and i also did my PB time from a 19.0 now down to a 18.6

Car felt great with a hard front sway bar and almost hard rear sway bar. Also ran 33Sh ATS tyres and a R09 Blitz body.

I had plenty of steer running 250 front width & 263 rear

front camber was like 1.5 rear camber 2mm

-1 droop front max droop 8 on the rear.

Ride height 7.5 front / 8.5 rear

Mugen shocks with white mugen springs and Motonica standard shock oil.

I had only a few minor issues with car, the damn front lower hinge pin worked its way loose and cause no turn in but i continued to drive to hold 3rd.

Anyways to provide better support on the little grub screw, seems the plastic just doest grip to screw that well!

Overal looking forward to the next round as there will be another 2 top drivers to play with.

Engine was a Novarossi N7T 21 - but modified crank! The engine kept up with 9port 35Plus Nova's

Our club on race day we would have battles between 7 & 9 port eninges, if you got fast engine and shit setup it wont work, so having a decent balance will work in car for sure!

I have another 2 NEW engines to test soon, JP 21 Modified & the MAX 21 9 TQ modified...

"Garen ill keep that tip in mind!"

I test the engine, it was ok for a beginner, but i need more to keep up with the modified engines, so i opped for a crank with some bigger lungs!

Try the NEW OS 21 ZX engine i hear there rockets for a good price aswell!

Motonica has its own tires under the Cosmic and X-Tyres labels. They both have the same offset and fit as nearly all Mugen compatible wheels.

I am not big into the electric scene but I do like this one. If the price is right, I can see one in my stable of cars.

I will find out pricing and availability and all related info for the brushless kits.

As for a receiver box, I think there is a reckward tuning box that fits, or cut out a piece of lexan and install it over the receiver. The ends of most body stiffeners sets work fine.
