The Flywheel is much smaller on the K-Factory Centax. The MTX-3 Centax Flywheel is closer in size to the standard Reflex Flywheel. I am perfectly happy with the performance of the Stock Reflex Flywheel, so I didn't want to go alot smaller in diameter. The MTX-3 Centax will allow you to use the 1 piece RFX motor mount, or you can buy the Mugen mounts which are 1.5mm lower. I personally like the way the 1 piece mount works as a Heat sink.

Default mitch179;

A good buddy of mine turned me onto the V1R springs. The Stock Reflex "Blue" springs are just way too soft for the Car. I really have never had a reason to change from the black springs once I put them on. I can always dial the Car in with Tires, Caster and Rear toe. Nothing else gets changed.

New blood for this
thread

I have had a Reflex sitting in it's
box for over a year. Monday the box
gets opened.
I have been racing NTC3s since they
came out. Don't like them, but I have
two of them. Collari Inotech X-12 on
both.
Got two Impulses also. Like them
better than the NTC3. Nova Mega SX-12s
on both.
I have been most happy runnibg a VoneR
with an OS 12, non pull-start, slide
carb. (this VoneR got lifted from my
pit, while corner marshalling, three
weeks ago)
The "perp" got nervous, and my VoneR
showed up at the track last week.
Back to the Reflex.
I have spare MT-12s,Trinity pipe & header, a Serpent Centex, spare Trinity Dual-Rate springs, and an aluminum middle belt mount.
Can anyone suggest what I should have sitting, on my bench (other than a cold one) as I start to build this car?

coastaltony;

Sounds like you got your "S" together. Other than V1R diff O-rings, sounds like your all set.

Thanks for the input popsracer. V-1R diff o-rings I hope these are much better then the gasket that comes with the Reflex. How do you seal your diff up so it does not leak? Also what wait oil do you run in your rear diff. I am currently using the front oneway. Built my rear diff according to the manual and it leaks.

Thanks,

Got a part number for the diff. o-ring?
Anyone know if the Kawahara Centex for MTX3 (#731) will fit on RFX?

Cool, thanks
I just looked thru two Kyosho manuals
Could not find the part.
On Monday, after I get back from a two day race, I will look back thru the pages.
I was going to offer a Trinity Centex clutch for you at a good price, but I see that you already got one.
I will keep on digging, and race my Impulses tomorrow & Sunday
Looks like we are gonna have some not so nice weather this weekend.
