Opinions of Braided Fuel lines...
are they simply for aesthetics or are they a worth while buy?

Its not worth it. I had exactly like that one on my ntc3. The blue rubber thing ( the one thats connected to the metal braids) always comes off especially when Im removing them on my os12tr. And putting it back is a pain in the a@#$ . I use a hairdyer to shrink it a little but still after a couple of runs it still comes off. After that I remove them and replace them with the regular fuel line. Besides they are too short . Well thats just my experience.

Well not really in my opinion, but for rc cars, stick to the regular stuff.
Just make sure you replace your lines often, cheap insurance (as 2 feet of tubing costs around 2 bucks)

They look like the pipes we have on my dads machine, heat resistant shit.
