First Race...!!!

Well, up until now, I've been a "parking lot basher". I ran my first race today! I love it! I took 2nd in the first heat, 2nd in the second heat, 4th in the third heat and 4th in the B-Main. I tore my car all to pieces..! I'm hooked on the race thing...!;)

I've never felt better about smashing my car up!:D

I'm not real good,... but,... I'm not real bad, either...!;)

It's a lot of fun....it got my blood pumpin'...~!

Hopefully, R/C racin' will be around forever...!!!!!:cool:

Smashing your car up is fun until you see the repair bill.:cry:

Nitro On-Road > First Race...!!!

Donnie-D;

Congrats on your first race. For me too racing is what it's all about.
Hint: Try going a little slower so you don't CRASH as much. Your lap times will actually be quicker because you'll spend less time on the Boards/Pipes (your Car will thank you too):D

Good luck on your next race!

Well,...it's good, clean fun. There's a lot worse things that I could spend my money on....ya' know?;)

As long as you had fun then it was a good day spent. :)

I want to go racing too. But haven't found the time.
Last year of school, so yeah pretty busy with school work.

Thanks, Popsracer,...I noticed that when I calmed down and made slow, consistent laps, I finished a lot better. Most of the other cars were wide open and they crashed a lot. It seems to be all about consistency rather than speed. I'm learning!

Fast isn't always fast. Sometimes slow is faster.

Donnie-D;

Yes, it's very hard to keep control with the adrenaline pumping durning a race. Force yourself to stay in control (even if it's slower), the faster speeds will come naturally as you become a better driver.

Have fun,
