Default Tampa, Florida 1/8 on-road RC

There is a good possibility I will be relocating to the Tampa area, I would like info on any on-road clubs in the area. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

Steve

There is no on-road 1/8th scale racing in Tampa. However on the bright side we have the Florida state series. There are two permanent tracks that race/practice over summer (the rainy season). They are located in Ft. Myers and Punta Gorda. Check out www.forgass.com and www.rc-racing.org . Also check out the Florida racing forum here at rctech...

Kissimmee is inclusive to FORGASS because it is only open for 1/8th racing during a forgass event. BUMMER! The region four race is happening as we speak, so its seen 1/8th scale three times this year. From where I live, drive time wise it really does not matter. Its a half hour give or take between the three. Homestead was fun for the forgass race and we are all kinda holding or breath about the permanent rc track that may or may not be in the works. One things for sure if they proceed based on the rest of there facilities it will be TOP NOTCH! Have no fear between the Fort and the Port your addiction will be satisfied...
