Anyway... Yes, we requested a few samples so we could test the car and see if we could generate some interest by showing it around some races and to some key retailers.
Seems your perception needs an upgrade. I too ordered my Evolva from overseas in 2003 and continued for some time. The "Perception" at the recent 1/8 Nats where Kyosho ran this car as a demo was EVERYONE LIKED IT!!! We are once again ordering from overseas.
Hmmm.....I wonder who percieved the Mini Inferno should be imported.....OOPS!

I got the Carbon upper deck form Kyosho today, Not bad looking as it comes with some standoffs, the deck is alos recessed around a MM on the left side for belt clearence. The price of the Kyosho upper deck is high though at around 5000 Yen i think the Honest parts is a better deal.

Drawings on 'here's the new parts' pages don't excite me. I would be interested in actual photos.

The heat sink looks interesting.

Has anyone tried the the race version of the the sirio .09? I know you can purchased it at the the-border-nl.

From the looks of the internals (in stock form) this engine has significant room for modification...

I haven't tried the mod-ed motor... I did do some work on the stocker. I polished the exhaust port and matched the bottom edge of the liner to the case. I smoothed the transfer ports. I polished the intake too (stock is really rough casting in the intake). I polished inside of the crank and beveled the transfer on the crank to a knife edge.

... but... It's winter here... I don't know how the car will run with these mods.

I will report on how the car runs after Vegas mid-January.

Here is some Spada parts update. Kyosho is finally giving us the Roll bar option, and they also have a pipe that is made for the Spada.
http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/newparts.html
The new pipe is more expensive but i looks like the nipple issuse has been addressed.
Here at the shop we also ordered all those new Charge parts. I am interested in seeing whjat these will look like.
Honest has those 2.0 and 1.5 degree camber front A arms. You have to cut away at the lower arm to keep it from binding. But i like the idea.
The Kondo tuned motor isnt out yet but on a side note Kondo was tuning the .09 for the Spada before Kyosho picked it up.Kyosho added few things but also the Price is 10000 Yen higher than the motors tuned before.
It is really cold here i hope by the time it warms up i dont have to replace my whole car to keep up.

The A arms sound interesting. The fronts are prone to coning and that would help keep the tires flatter in the turns... the car already steers like it's on rails... but this could help.

Ivan... what is the pricing on the a-arms and the new pipe?
