Rich... I'll post on the Utahrc.com site... that is where most locals hang out. I would have come... but we got nailed with 10" if snow at the house and that made travel a non-option for me. I will let you know what the 'boys' say.

This isnt what i have been selling as i have the Rony parts and i think this is the Capricorn parts from Italy,i could be wrong. The parts look a little different as there isnt a front suport or top deck. The Rony parts are pretty cheap and made nice. Kyosho is coming out with some carbon parts finally but the Rony parts to me make a little more since. The Kyosho Carbon chassis is two pieces, and the top deck looks to be raised to clear the pullies on the brake side.

I haven't had a chance to run it with the new chassis. It's Winter here .... I will have some track time in a month at Vegas. I'll report what I experience.

Thanks. I am still on the fence about purchasing the car since I will probably be the only on in Texas with one (and have no one to run against). I will get one but will wait until after the first of the year (got to have some monies for Christmas shopping for family and friends).

Tell me when was the last time a store in the states carried a full line of Kyosho products? And they wonder why many that use to own V one RRRs in the states are switching to Xray NT1s!! Only two of the ten known hobby stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area carries Kyosho products and that is their buggy and truggy in one store and their electric 2wd and 4wd buggy in the other. And, those sales are weak. Kyosho and Tamiya seem to think alike: dump all their useless r/c creations on the states markets while saving the good stuff for the overseas markets. At least HPI/HB has gotten out of that and now offer their better stuff (mainly HB electric cars) to the US consumer (I have a Cyclone and love it over the Pro 4). Hey Kyosho, this is why your are way behind the competition in the states: lack of bringing the US consumer what he wants/craves. Keep your Mini infernos, Waveblasters, electric/nitro Blizzards, "Hang Ten" surfer dudes, and for the most part, your Mini Zs and let me stop before I tell Kyosho where they can stick the aforementioned crap.

JLOCK..

could not agree more....

Got involved in mini z racing this year with a MM02.......between TWO hobby stores in NJ that stock kyosho and have tracks on premises, Know what i've learned?...

Kyosho support for their products is HORRID.....

NO BODIES, NO PARTS, NO CLUE.....

Tower hobbies makes(d) Kyosho USA look like a mom and pop store......

And kysoho bought Orion?....

that will be the death of team orion in the US.........

Rich,

Not getting much response (dave says 'no') to your gracious invitation. If you were to have another test and tune... when were you thinking?
