During the event some heavy knocks occurred and not a sign of a stripped gear.
So this was a good trial for the new spurs and they came threw the event unscathed.
Good on you Mugen for finally resolving this problem.
Damm Chip, you beat me to it!

The part about "some heavy knocks" must have been when i had my driving stint!

You are suppose to run even tire diameter with the 25 pulley and you need to run a 2mm split with the 24 pulley......

I usually decide on the pulleys depending on track size and overall traction. If it is a large track and high bite. I would usually go with the 24 tooth pulley so I can run a 60mm rear tire and 58 front tire so I can have top end speed and not worry about traction rolling.....

I ran the new gears this weekend at the Rams 40th race and they ran flawless. They're also a different color ( gray ) just because of the new material mugen is using. Just as with all spur/pinion gears; weather thier plastic or metal, follow proper gear meshing proceedures.

I'm having brain dead now ......

I setup my car with 25t pulley , tire diameter of 61 (front) & 64 (rear). From your point of view, am I driving sort of rear 2WD ?
