I figured something like that. Too bad I have some rubber belts in my parts bag. Ah well maybe I'll trade em in or just use em LOL.

Just use the belts. They don't last quite as long, and they tend to gum up the pulleys...over time, but despite all that I ran rubber belts exclusively after my first race with the car.

Is there an issue with using Urethane and rubber belts together? I had to replace the rear belt and the only one I had was the rubber. The front and middle belt are fine, but are the stock ones.

The Urethane belts on front and rear with rubber side belt is a good combo. When I got my first mtx-4 they actually included a rubber side belt instead of the urethane.
I had a rear urethane snap on me during a race, replaced that then the front one didn't take long to snap to, so ive figured replace both fr & rr once one goes + keeping an eye on the side belt making sure still enough tension.
Its difficult to tell the condition of the urethane belts compared to rubber, they can snap on you.

Just what I've discovered

T0151B FRONT LOWER ARM
T0164 FRONT UPRIGHT
T0161 REAR UPRIGHT

ARE THE ONLY CHANGES NEEDED IN PARTS TO BECOME R
THE REST, FRONT ONE WAY SPOOL, UNIVERSALS, ALUM ENGINE MOUNTS
AND BRAKE DISC ARE JUST UPGRADES WITH NO EFFECT IN GEOMETRY

MY MANDATORY UPGRADES
DOUBLE REAR SHOCK TOWER OR 4MM OPTION TOWER
TEFLON BRAKE PAD
AND IN HIGH TRACTION, YELLOW SHOE AND MSR CLUTCH SPRING
AND STEEL GEARS THAT LAST FOREVER

REGARDING THE URETHAN BELTS, NEED MORE TENSION THAN RUBBER IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOOSE TEETH, TOO MUCH TENSION IN THE OTHER HAND WILL MAKE IT SNAP WITH NO REASON WHATSOEVER

HOPE IT HELPS

The part numbers are correct, the descriptions aren't. T0161 is Graphite Rear upper Arm Mount. Rear uprights are T0153, same for 4 and 4R.

Bear in mind that you have to add shims under steering linkage on the front upright to achieve approx. the same steering geometry as the original MTX-4. The T0138-B "FRONT UPRIGHT WC" and T0164 have the steering linkage located 3mm lower that the original (while T0138-B is otherwise the same as original, T0164 is the new 2 degree kingpin option). The T-0138B was made to be able to tune bump steer, this is the part that was used on the World Champ winning car.
