If you really want to know how to set-up a car, use this: http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/sho...p?file_id=3577

Hey, I know it's xray but it's helped me a lot.

You would help me alot if anybody could give me info on the clutch and gearing setup with RB R3 for a medium / small size tracks, mostly medium traction,
For this seazon switched from G4S and wasp to Mugen camp and RB, it would be useful to know what gearing and clutch setup to begin with

drop a tooth on both pinions from the kit and run the spring collar at about 1.2mm with a .4mm gap

You want a smaller gap between the shoes and the housing. Look here: http://www.nitrokb.com/mtx4/pdf/mtx4...adjustment.pdf
Follow those instructions and you'll have no problem. And thrust bearings blow, it's not related. You need to oil it after (or before) every run.

Hey guys, can I get a spring rate chart for the mugen springs? Something with their colors and pound rating if possible.

Also, what other company springs fit well on the mugen shocks?

Thanks

No, you have to be careful and confident when joining the upper bulkhead.

If you want the slow way but 100% sure, you have to take off the graphite suspension plate, and install the upper bulkheads one by one on each side.

When I ran that car I did one thing that helped a little bit with regards to setting the belt tension on the car.

Put a small dot of white paint on the "nib" of the eccentric. Also put a small dot of white paint right above each hole of the upper bulhead. It will make it a little bit easier to see what you are doing.
