I had the same problem with my MTX4-R and it was all stock with the O.S 12tz I had to add a shim under the engine, between the engine mount and the engine. the shim I used was the aluminum one that goes on the servos this worked well. Post a picture lets see the problem. Hope this helps

Make sure your sway bar links are even and 2mm inward.

For tires try this 40rear 37fronts. 60mm rear 58 front

Hope this gets you going in the right direction
thanks for the reply , but i didn't read this until today.
1st time racing with the mtx4r...previous was 733 and RRR. just wanted to feel the car again (i had a mtx3 few years back).
anyway i ended up copying more than 80% of fukuda's setup
well i was amaze..i believe it suits my driving style and the track condition & layout. i was in the 3rd position before my 1st gear spur strip 7 minutes towards the 45 min main...hard luck..i consider myself not a very fast driver. but i feel great coz the car&setup perform more than i expected( especially diving into the corners and exiting..still feel the sensation. i can also "attack" other cars with confident..

this is some of the setup ..

Front Diff= 30,000 diff oil
Rear Diff=30,000 diff oil
Droop= 0 front 4 rear
Shock Springs =light blue fr and rear
Shock Oil = front 600(one hole ) rear=600
Track Width= front 199 rear 200 ( i tried 198/199 , but i feel too aggressive)
Roll Center= front 2mm spacer under upper arms: Rear= mid

front sway blade 30 deg
rear sway blade flat
Shock position should be on the 2nd hole from the bottom. ( 2nd front, 3rd hole rear.
tyres>for the heats 37 front and rear
finals 61.5 mm(40 front) and 64.5 mm (42 rear) for the final

thanks...

Just wanting to get an idea of what sorta diff oils people are using in the standard mugen diffs.

i have been racing on a low grip tight track.

i currently have 50 000 front 30 000 rear. But i found it would break loose on exit.

Try lowering the rear diff fluit to 10,000, also trying lowering the cg in the rear. Use the lowest pin position on the rear lower arms.

Add More Toe in initially, see if that helps. Going lighter on the rear diff fluid will also help....

I'm using a sirio clutch and I shortened the Front end of the car by 2mm... We have a pretty basic set up except for the clutch and the shortened front end...

So, you thinned the front A-arm. I have to try and run into a front corner to take you and Marco out.

See you at RCX. I will loctite my wheel nuts.

Make sure they are Mugen wheel nuts or you will run into the same problem again.
