Yea that was not cool! I was already thinking well I'll just get an extra pulley but I did not want to go there with you or anyone so I left it alone, Thanks for the input. i think I'll just keep it like my 1/8 scale one-way axle free wheel not solid axle

After the first heat I switched from the spool up front to the diff. WOW... What a difference... much more driveable.

I feel it runs just like the MRX-4X 8th scale with the one-way Axle never ran it with the diff's this is the first time I ever heard of it.

The gear diff, can give you better braking, and if you use a thick lube, it will have the same pull out of the corner. 100,000k ft / 50,000k rear can work as well as 70,000 / 30,000 or 50,000 / 20,000. You just need to play with it. I keep the spool/one way along with two gear diffs built and play as needed based on the track.

I always ran the spool, as thats all I have with my car, but pretty much everywhere ive been (except jackson), I felt the car would be better w/ a diff up front. 200k front/ 50k rear for a place like blue diamond should work well

The 353 engines are great, the Novarossi 12+3 modified, Mega motors, or if you want to save a little money and still have a competitive engine, the JL tuned Red Dots are great.
I have had multiple of each engne<other than the Mega> and have had nothing but great results.
I had a 12+3 modified in one of my MTX4R cars, and it was by far the fastest 12 size engine I have ever seen. Still swear by the 12+3 modified. I bought the factory tuned 12+3C and then had it modified even more by Fusion Motorsports. That engine was an animal. Too bad you are just now needing an engine, as I sold 5 or 6 engine less than a month ago, and one of them was the modified 12+3

if u wanna hit the track with a motor that isnt ppicky to tune and want great results, get the Red Dot, then when you want to step up, gab a Nova based motor. the Red Dot will be better on the pockets too, remember you need a pipe to match to get the motor to run good, and the Nova motor and pipe have always been too steep for me.
