Well I have already used front and rear diffs, and found that I like the spool up front better. I am happy with the shore tires I use during the season, both 37 and 40 depending on the temp. I have never tested different oils in my shocks as I have always stock with what came in the kit, so being that I am going over the car from top to bottom I thought this would make for a great test. If it turns out to suck then I will rebuild them again with 600 wt oil and be done with the idea. I will say that I have been looking threw different racing forums and have seen many MTX4R racers that have been using both 350 wt and 400 wt so I am sure it will be fine for testing.

I hope LOL

Try 1.3mm shock pistons (MRX4 Option) in the front shocks, stock pistons in the rear and 400 -450 oil all around.

Oh, and if you need more steering, shorten your wheelbase (front)

Default mtx4r

hi to all mtx4r drivers,

jus few question on mtx4r, is the car easy to drive out of the box with the stock setting jus like the mtx3? again this kit is pretty old as for its design.
will it be wise to purchase it?

The car is good out of the box and it's not an "old" as some people might lead you to believe. It's still very competitive. Darin Ishitani recently won Novarossi Challenge Race #1 at Crystal Park Raceway with other guys running the Serpent 733, Kyosho V-ONE RRR Evo 2 and the XRAY NT1.

You can also read this thread and compare the MTX-4's design with other cars and decide for yourself.

This link is from Toy Fair last week. It shows Robert Pietch talking about the new MRX 5. If you look closely in the bottom right hand corner you can see what looks like a new Sedan. Just an observation, you never know.

Sorry Jamie, RedRC already passed through the Mugen booth and there was no new Mugen 1/10th sedan at the Toy Fair.
