i put my car back to the setup that works here at our track, but forgot the uprights, and the car deff wasnt the same. not enough steering for our track, i think because the 164s are for the higher traction applications from what i have heard. the shims i am still studying.
I prefer the 138b's also. I find myself slamming on the breaks and using a ton of "rake" to get the car into the turns. The 164 are definitly more mellow; but I like the feel of the 138b's

Hey guys, would a MRX4 pulley fit in a MTX-4? I know that the holders are compatible, but is the belt pitch compatible too?

Actually rake is more like caster. I don't think I was using the correct term. But I think you get my point.

Pass you soon...

YES.

Mugen Seiki 1/10 and 1/8 belts are all 3mm pitch.

MTX3 pulley set has plastic 23T.

IMO:
138b gives more initial entry steering

164 gives more mid corner steering

so it really depends on driving style or spool/one-way

With spool I like the 138b as you just throw the car in and it's done turning by mid

with one-way I prefer the 164, smooth flow

I agree. I only race one track that I use a oneway with. All other tracks I use either a spool or diff. If traction is high I use the spool when it's med to low I use a diff.

Hey GUys, well after 6 weeks of no racing the Gods above this weekend allowed some enjoyable track tiime....

After 2 years out of IC Tourer racing i finally got my car in TQ in group B and a personal best time of 20.7 which i had never got before always running 21.3 and above.

The car has a few settings to adjust, had issues with too much over steer and then sometimes not enough turn in - but i think nervs got better of me.

In the 20min B Final i held 1st Position in the end and did 51 laps with a lap ahead of the field.

I hope you enjoy the Video, I am the Car white White Body Shell "PINK WING"

Cheers
Frankie
