The car is designed to use the 2/3AA flat pack

Thanks for the reply Scott. I have read on the NITROKB website and you have a TON of useful information there. I look foreward to building and running the car. I will be using an OS TZ which I loved in the G4S. My first engine was an older Picco but the power is very steady with the new TZ. I run on small parking lot tracks. Any setup help would be appreciated. The nice thing is 75% of the guys I run with have MTX4's.

I thought it used a side by side flat pack much more capicity than the AAA pack in the MTX3 Not too sure what you would call the cels though.

I also moved from G4S to MTX-4. I made such dicision because :

1. Unstable distributionship. I had BAD experience 4 years ago when Trinity distribute the first generation G4, no parts at all. later TM switch distributionship to Powerlineracing then RDLogic then Phoenix. When TM is distributed by RDLogic and Phoenix (which I go back to TM car again), it was alright. later when they switch to Trinity again, I sold my G4S for MTX-4. As aspected, Trinity screws thing up. left only Raceday Hobbie the only source of part in US. now Raceday got the distributionship hope they can do a good job to save TM's reputation.

2. Trouble with radio equipment. at the time I bought G4S I switch to Spektrum. I went through 3 Rx and 2 Tx modules. for whatever reason the Spektrum can never control my G4S well, it lost signal all the time and cause crashes. in witch never happen when I swtich to MTX, also wiring is a bit hard on G4S, plus the battery was rubbing the belt and hard to remove.

G4 series is underrated car performance wise, only if they make it easier to work with and for USA, stablized the distributionship will make it more success

I sold my G4S because I have to make room for NT1 hehehe ......

I still keep my two MTX3 and MTX4 though.....

Next car I want to kick out is 1/12 Team Associate L4.

If you run the g4s you MUST rap your receiver! Fuel will get in it if you don't.

That was another reason why I switched. The Rx is directly behind the fuel tank and even though I would wrap it in a balloon I would still check and re wrap after every race. I think the radio box on the MTX4R will be much better Troy
