Very hard to go wrong with the Strarus 3.1. The Civic will give you a bit more steering. Haven't run it, but I've heard decent things about the Blitz Altis as well.

Whoa Craig! I'm not sponsored by Blitz. My only sponsor is GQ Tires.

But, I do support racedayhobbies.com which sells GQ tires and Blitz bodies. They have some VERY reasonably priced painted ones too.

Hey guys! I'm in the process of getting an MTX-4R for myself

I'm wondering what engine should I pair it with? Are the Ninja engines any good?

If money is a concern, i'd suggest a JLR Evo 3 or 4 when it comes out. If you have a bigger budget, go with the Murnan Modified 353. I've known too many people (including myself) that had problems with the Ninjas.

Connecting rod failures on most of them. 4 of us had them at our club and we all had premature failures. One guy put a hole in his piston. Not sure why that happened. Another guy had 2 blow in one day. Either way, the .12s were under-powered compared to a red dot.
