i run the 5th body post, as far as i know it doesnt effect performance it holds the body on much better and it feels solid on the car, so it protects it better.

Hi guys,

By using 0.8 bevel gears in the rear diff, does it increase the car's performance? Or just a waste of money?

finer teeth means smoother and tighter differential rotation. I guess it's still waste of money. The current bevel gears are doing the job fine.

btw, is this 0.8 bevel gears are new release from mugen ?

I run the 5th body post, but i cut mine down to the bonnet like with a rubber cap on top.
It keeps the body from flexing at high speed and keeps the aerodinamic shape more consistent!
With the older generation cars, you tended to have the body flex in the middle a bit, especially if you had any splits in the front wheel arches!

i have never seen them fail in any regular time.
depends on how much stuff you hit?
a well placed smack into a board or a shot from behind from another car will snap one. just run them until they fail, or if you tear a corner off your car in a crash, it wont hurt to replace. but a lot of work to just change them as maintenence i think
