hey, anyone know off the top of their head what the internal ratio of the mugen MTX4 is? or if you could give me two speed pulley and rear diff that would work too

ok, thats exactly what I thought it was. Haven't had one in a while but I am making some gearing changes to my NT1. funny enough my first gear is WAY to tall lol. 7.1, second gear is spot on tho lol. seems a lot of xray guys blame the clutch for poor performance off the corner, nope... geared to tall.. Went with the wildest clutch setup I have and it wasn't enough lol

Having the hexes get jammed in the rim is enough of a reason for me not to use them. I's rather find somewhere else to cut weight. Besides, I doubt that my skill level is high enough to notice any difference. I'd stick to the usual ways to reduce rotating weight (2 speed, mid shafts, pulley adapters).

Wonder if those Derlin pulley adapters will be the hot ticket next year...

anyone in the orange county area interested in a painted mazda 6 body that was mounted on an MTX-4 and never ran (by the time I made it to the track I already had my Xray sedan). ? let me know..
