Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
I have used a associated brass collet for NTC3 and it worked very well.

Be careful if you choose this method as the taper is greater on the NTC3 collit.

Considering the worlds just passed and they were running MTX4's, I doubt there will be a new car anytime soon.

I have heard that it is easy to blow out second gear in the MTX4R. Is there anything that you guys are doing to avoid losing second gear?

Do you have a good stepped process that can help ensure proper alignment?

remove first gear, align engine with second gear only. Make sure all screws that mount to the bulk head are tight, and not stripped. Use thread lock on the bolts that bolt the motor to the mount. ect ect ect....read through this thread and you'll see the above advice repeated over and over.

From what I have seen, most people that use the aluminum pullies wind up changing back to stock.
The edges are very sharp on the aluminum pullies, and this will cause the belt to fail.
I tried them myself just to see if it would destroy a belt, and took the aluminum pullies back off within a month.
They are mostly for "bling" anyway.
Do yourself a favor, and just make sure the pullies are not nicked, or have small pieces of material on the pullies and run the stock ones.
Hell if I knew where my aluminum pullies were at, you could have them, but I removed them well over a year ago, and no telling where I stashed them.
