Yes i'm sure!
I'm running this battery in both my MTX4s along with the Xcceed 6.2v regulator.
The reason the battery looks long, is that it is thinner than a regular 5 cell battery, but the length is fine!
Trust me!

And you just tape it in the car? Any protection to it? I know a local here ran a common sense pack, and he had to put a piece of metal on the one end so it didnt hit the pulleys.

What do you mean? They blow up, or over heat? I want to run my day on lipos, or at least my practice day with no worries...

I still run NIMH.... It really is reliable and the 1400 mah pretty much could run a whole days practice.... I have no idea about lipo rx packs since I just run lipo on my electric sedan...

In the month of August alone, I have run a 60 min main and a 45 min main using a lipo and a Novak 3 amp regulator in my Kyosho sedan. Have run other 45 and 60 min mains. No problems yet.

Question: Will running a Lipo Rx battery affect the cg? Do we have to compensate by using a brass battery tray then?

a lipo rx pack will be lighter so you will need to weigh your car to ensure it is legal. The CG would changed but I doubt you would notice it

Raising the lower pins raises the rear roll centre giving you more front grip. For a more subtle adjustment you can either add more shims on top of the rear hub (1mm makes a noticable difference) or use a lower mounting hole on the inner camber link

I'm interested if anyone has tried raising the height of the rear camber link (but not changing the angle) by using the top mounting hole on the inner mount and adding shims on top of the hub. I use a similar technique with my EP car and it helps to calm down the rear while having minimal effect on the RC

Yes, it will alter the CG. I would add the brass battery tray (especially if the car is now under legal race weight) , or add brass to the chassis wherever you want. This will probably also allow you to lower your fuel tank if you want to.

I have a fellow racer who had done that, changing to lipo and lowering his fuel tank, i think his servos were also lowered by another mm or 2. It has worked to a great effect having him coming up tops many times in our local races.

Question is how do i find the balance of the car if i switch to lipo? I remember something abt shifting the balance of the car will affect how the car drives.

Using the Xceed lipo you should be able to drop the tank by at least 3mm not sure on other lipo's
