So I need some spur gears ASAP, and my local Mugen supplier is not in town. I've heard that the NT1 spurs work for the Mugen, and the local XRAY shop carries them. Before I go buy a bunch of spurs, I need confirmation that they will work, anyone? Thanks

Is there a kit to upgrade a mtx4 to 4r status?

No, but if you look back at the beginning of this thread, there's a list of parts, and part numbers you can buy to make it a 4r

I don't really know that there is a kit but you really just need to replace a few front suspension parts and the carbon rear upright mount.

1st gear slips straight on mugen but needs to be nt1 spur and housing, 2nd just misses. Personally i wouldnt use them on mugen, mugen has to be set up well.

I would try more front caster and/or heavier rear diff oil.

I forgot to mention i already have 30k in the rear. I dont wanna go heavier due to lack of track grip. I will give it a little more castor and see how it goes. Any other suggestions?

more castor = less vertical = more clips infront of arms?

Yes, more clips in front of upper suspension arms.

I had a similar issue with my set up and what I did to help it, was to raise the rear shocks to the second position from the top on your shock tower. I will say try this first before going onto the next item. Also I tried to ease on my throtle using the settings on my radio and it helped. I felt that I was overpowering the car on the exit.

good luck.

Try adding 2mm shims underneath front upper bulkheads, and try using with softer tire compound at front tires. Examples 37 front and 40 rear.

I use two holes white damper piston at front, and one hole piston damper at rear. It helps reduce under steering at medium speed mid cornering.
