thanks to all for the response..

had just check my os tz also, yup the marks on the carb are there as well . but the ostz carb have more space to turn clockwise to free up more space

i have used the ninja, os tz, other novas and the nova 353 i think the nova 353 has the 'fatest' carburetor thus the rubbing !

when u guys mention turn the carburetor more, means 'clockwise' right when view from top of car ?

many thanks

Default RB speed matrix on MTX4R

Hi,

Is it ok if I lift up the carb abit on my RB speed matrix as it hits the brakes? As I just could not find ways in not letting the carb hit the brakes on my MTX4R. If there is no solution what engine best suits the MTX4R? Thanks in advance

Do not lift the carb up to make clearance. If I understand you right, you are talking about loosening the pinch bolt and basically pulling the carb up a little? There is an o'ring that seals the carb and engine and if you lift the carb up, the o'ring will not seal and you will have air leaks and it will not run right and will not tune. You should be able to rotate it out of the way. When you rotate it, you may also have to rotate the piece that the servo pulls on so that it will slide freely. Make sure when you're done that it pulls the carb in a straight line and use a little lock tight on the set-screw. You do NOT want that little tiny screw coming loose. This may take some time to get it right and it may mean installing the carb on the engine while in the car, then removing the engine from the car, making an adjustment, then reinstalling the engine. Have some patience when doing this and get it right. You will be happy once it is.

Usually the area that needs filing is an edge on the carb, i found no probs at all taking couple ml here ,but little at a time is way to go. It shouldnt need much off, all my engines was a minimal amount.Sirio's were the worst ones to fit.But all fit fine now.

Default Front gear differential

I will be replacing my tired old NTC3 with a new Mugen MTX 4R in the near future! However i would like to start off with a front gear diff. the online instruction manual shows the assembly procedure, and indicates that the case halves, T0258c and T0258d, come with the kit but not the internal components.
Will i have to buy all of the internal parts piece by piece or does Mugen sell a kit? And what diff. oil should i get for the front diff.?

Regards, Dave
