I don't know where you are, but the Kyosho tool is available straight from Kyosho America. Part VZW 221.

Anyone know where to get a tool to measure the clearance between the clutch spring nut and the threads on the crank? I use a caliper but I saw a guy once that had a tool made for that.

Thumbs up

Look into the Team Tamale tool...it doesn't measure the spring preload, but does measure the clutchbell spacing...equally as critical. Spring preload just measure down with a caliper from the end of the crank to the top of the spring retaining nut. Take multiple measurements around the surface and average it out.
