I'm debating whether or not I'd go to Floyd or BPT tomorrow as it may rain a little bit. The trip to Brooklyn would been nice as I can get some gear from Brooklyn Hobbies. I'll think about it overnight.

Hmm it's a little wet outside, but I think I'll take the trip down to floyd as hopefully the sun will dry up the track. Infact it should be dry when I get there as it'll take 2hrs after I pick up a friend. I know most of the guys are goin down to Maryland, but the ones who aren't are sure to be there.

Anyone up for a meet?
Thursday May 24th, which is next week I am taking a day off work and spending it at the track, if anyone wants to come to this meet, plz let me know in a PM with your name and number.
I will bring sodas and stuff so I want to know who's coming, it will probably be all day.
if we can't do it on that day it will prob be June 3rd which is a Sunday, I cant make it the last sunday in may because its memorial day and I wont be able to take a day off.
but yea, let me know so I can set something up. who knows we might have a little competition between us.

well, i was in bpt. a couple months back not to far from the track, so i decided to see if its still there. well, it is but its in bad shape. the stand looks like its ready to fall and the track is obviously dirty. the hobby shop that was around the corner was turned into a bail bonds shop by the hobby shop owner, so i take it he's not looking out for the track. Its sad that this is what became of the track. but i was hard for other clubs to to run races there do to the fact that security was needed and the hobby shop owner which help have the track built was makeing it tough to have races there as he wanted everything to be passed by him...... so its FBF, and Chaplin. Which are actually better tracks..imo

the track was never paid for or built by the LHS owner, the city of bpt built that track and park as a recreational area.
and angel the owner of the shop had to close down due to a dying hobby in the area, there were rumors that he opened a shop in milford I dunno how true they are.
the reason why there were never races in bpt was really 2 reasons, insurance costs and complaints, people always complained about the noise, and no team could afford the costs of insurance there, thus the hobby shop moved out and someone else bought out the building, the track with no maintance became ruined, and the stand is slowly decaying...
