Thanks for sharing. In reply to a post further up mine also ran hot at about 260 but it was fine. Either becuase its a new motor or the nature of the 28 size engine.

I run the car in Mexico the first weekend of this month. Thanks to my friends in Mexico for the hospitality and for the nice video about the F180. You can see the car and a few laps and judge by yourself the handling.

Can we get this video without the background music. I want to hear the engine music.
Thanks

Default Throttle Servo Linkage

Hi Guys

I just got this kit and one of the problems that I ma having is the throttle linkage.

Depends on how I install the servo horn that comes with the kit - either I end up with throttle and no brake OR brake and no throttle.

Anyone had similar issues? Any ideas on how to resolve?

Thanks

Acid

No problems like that have been reported. You are aware of the cable tension screw at the front in of chassis I hope. Set up the throttle per directions and then start working on brake by adjusting the tension of the screw and the thumb nut for the rear. If that don't work it may be your radio end points or bad servo.

Probably you are making the same mistake I did initially. The lever will only push the trottle. do no try to insert the carb lever on the arm.

U putt double band on the carb to be sure it close.

Thanks Edgar and Rebal.

Edgar, please explain more... what do you mean when you say "do no try to insert the carb lever on the arm."

So, the carb nipple must not be inserted into the holes in the lever?

Currently, when I install the servo, I clip in the nipple into one of the holes on the servo horn... this is not correct?

See pic below...

Thanks Acid

Acid:

That is exactly what you can't do. The carb nipple goes out of the holes. It will be pushed to open, it will go in the outside of the arm, where the semicircle side is. In other words, if you hit Full trottle, and hold the carb it can be hold open if you dont install the rubber bands to close them.

The servo horn will push downward the barrel arm, and when you apply brakes it will close be it self. not with the servo horn
