stick with the tc3.....
I was also thinking about a Super Nitro...from what I remember you "like" that car. Have you had probs with belts on those? someone's willing to sell me a hopped-up roller for $280.00

chicken hopper design...what's that?

Have you found better stearing servos worth it? So far all I've used are Futaba S3003...with overkill M8 (bought used for cheap)

If you notice,on your tank, the pressure feed goes to the bottom of the tank(the line from the muffler)...the idea was even fuel pressure, with no lean out towards the end of the tank...

if HPI make s one good car,its the super nitro.....the inherant instability in their 1/10 cars isn't present in that car....

you'll have problems with belts though..in that car,and all belt cars..(My Impulse used to get them(rocks) all the time...as well as my racer2's......

if you have to get something for bashing, and want to try something new,how about the new OFNA LD?....theres a shaft drive basher for ya..

the minimum I put in any of my cars is a Hitec 525 MG servo on steering, and a nylon gear 525 on gas...ALL my tc3's,supers,SS,racer2's,Impulse,Veteq,etc have Hitec digital 5925's on steering and gas...

they are well worth it.....

Can't believe how much the Ofna looks like the NTC3. Can't really tell how the brakes work looking at the pics.

Well I'll try that steering servo...I think servocity has them.
