Default Werks Race Blend Fuel Available in Florida @ Warrick's

Werks Race Blend Fuel will shortly be available at Warrick Custom Hobbies in Plantation, Fl. Initially, we will only carrying 30% nitro, for around $35 a gallon. It should be in stock by the end of next week.

Hrm...price = ouch, but nice to see it becomming available.

Has anyone directly compared Byron's 30% to Werks 30% back to back or something? Byrons is about $10 per gallon cheaper for me. I guess I wanna know if spending the extra cash on Werks is worth it.

I haven't tried it yet, so I can't attest to it's performance. I do know that some of the best drivers were using it at the Winternats. I agree that at $35 it's a bit pricey, but I believe it's worth it (alot cheaper than Tornado fuel). At least if you are looking for that last little bit of performance.

Well, currently I can get Byron's at around $25 a gallon for 30% or if I wanna run 20% it's $20 a gallon. Warricks is a bit far, but if the fuel is really worth the extra $10 per gallon I have no issues going up there when I need fuel.

Again I just wonder if anyone has directly compared them.

I have run Both fuels...I noticed with the Werks your motors run cooler and you need to lean the motor..in turn you get better fuel mileage...I am very pleased with the fuel...will be using it this weekend at www.forgass.com state race #6 and will also run Rc Proseries race in homestead..this month.

How is wear on the motor Robert? I have heard many good things about WERKS fuel and the only slightly negative thing I've heard is that of wear and discoloration on internal parts. Is this what you have found?

It may be a hoax......ie bad vibs being distributed by competition. As I can not vouch for the source of this info' being third or forth hand. It sounded dubious..?!

I havent noticed any significant wear like you mention.....the motor does have a dark tint to it after running several tanks, but this is due to the oil that is being used and does not cause any damage whatsoever..considering the races I have attended and the drivers i have raced along side using this fuel I would say someone is pulling your leg.
