Default RS4 3 Max engine size?

hey guys, was wonder whats the biggest engine i could put into the Hpi Nitro RS4 3?

there used to have people put a .21 size engine (after some mov and optional part) without mod .18 small block is the bigest i know.

bigger engine will mess up the weight balance of the car. think before you do it

Get the OS 18TZ , more power than youll ever really need. And the price is jaw dropping. $130-$140 for the motor. For the power in an on-road or off-road car I dont think you can find a better deal.

I had one in my r40 for some kicks to see how fast it is and well , it was scary.

Artificial is right, the OS .18TZ would be the best choice. With this much power, you will have to beef up the drive with hardened dogbones, or universals, and get the hardened diffs, middle shaft, etc...if you have enough funds. If you don't, you will be busting dog bones, develop grooves in the outdrives much sooner, and more frequent.
