ALG There is no official web page for the Race for now. I will be posting some Inf. of some Small Hotels soon wich are about 15 to 20 min. from the Race Track. There's an Embassy Suite Hotel in Dorado which is expensive but its right in the beach front and about 20. min from the Race Track. (Embassy Suites Dorado Del Mar & Beach Resort 201 Dorado del Mar Boulevard, Dorado, Puerto Rico 00646
Tel: +1-787-796-6125 Fax: +1-787-796-6145)

We are still waiting for the Inscription Form and more Information from the Event coordinators.

HI DJ:

As I promise I will be glad to help you. Send me your phone number or ask maxy my phone, I will help everybody who needs any Info.

Just a few tips.

1. There are 2 options for airport. San Juan International (SJU) or Aguadilla (BQN), San Juan is the best option. There are more flight availble and it will be easier if any of incoming racers have a problem, that any of our local contacts can help.

2. When looking for hotels. Look only for San Juan, Dorado or Arecibo area. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT trust on distances posted on sites like Expedia, Travelocity, Etc. Here in Puerto Rico, 35 miles can represent 1 to 1.5 hours of driving. We are a small island with 4.5 millions but with 2 millions cars. so you can imagine how is the traffic here.

3. Javier is part of Puerto Rico RC Racers Association, which I preside. In conjuction with the race directive, we will try to get good deals on hotels. Once we have, will be posted with the proper code or contact person.

4. If you can make arregements to stay few more days, there are a couple of places to sightseeing that are very nice.

Thanks
Edgar Tirado
