2007 Mugen Grand Prix
Dates: April 18th-22nd
Location: Las Vegas Silver Bowl Raceway
Team Taylor Racing is pleased to announce the 2007 Mugen Grand Prix. This is the first year for Mugen to be the primary sponsor for the annual spring race in Las Vegas and this year promises to be more exciting. Mugen is offering a Challenge race for both sedan and 1/8th scale non sponsored drivers. The top 12 non sponsored drivers will battle it out for a Mugen car kit. This should make the action on the track more intense than ever. The race will also be the only warm up planned for the 2007 On-Road Nationals. So if you are looking for track time then here is your chance. The weather in Las Vegas in April is extremely hard to beat with temps in the low 80 degree range. The race will be run in the typical Las Vegas fashion. The track will open to pre-registered racers Wednesday at 1600 hours until 2100 hours. Thursday controlled practice will start after driver sign in at approx 0930 and run until dark. Friday will have 3 rounds of qualifying and a resort for the additional 2 rounds on Saturday. Following the completion of qualifying we will run lower mains and the Mugen Challenge race. Sunday will be all mains day starting at 0930. We look forward to working with Mugen for many years to come and we hope to see all our racing friends in Las Vegas in April.
Las Vegas Racing Bigger and Better than ever in 2007.
If you receive any type of help from a manufacturer or dealer then you are a sponsored dirver and do not qualify for the Mugen Challange race.

The Sienna Suites will have rooms for Racers up until 2 weeks before the race then you are on your own. Ther is a room block for 25 rooms first come first served. It would be in your best interest not to wait until the last min to get a room.

Should be fun.......................no pork!
The Sunset Station is close by and a nice place to stay with every kind of restuarant near by alittle more expensive but very worth it.
