Thanks also to Mugen for sponsoring the race; I think races like the "Mugen Challenge" race are a great idea. Maybe more big events will do stuff like that?

Congrats to all the participants, especially Scott Kimbrow for winning 1/8,
Brian Thomas for winning sedan (nice drive!), and Jimmy DePrez for bumping up from the B sedan into the A sedan and finishing 2nd. Ron Atomic was "Mr Smooth" behind the wheel of his 1/8 (did you SEE his car? Smooth as silk...) in the B-main; congrats on the bump to the A on the first time with an 1/8 car! It was good to see Chris V and Steve P and Garen H doing really well too... congrats on a great race guys.

The Nats are always fun but they will be really fun this year -- if this race was any indication of what to expect we'll have a big turnout and good racing!

Jason
nice run jason keep it going

Thanks Rich for another great program, and congrats to all the winners.
I wish I could've gone a little earlier, but I had a great time.
Thanks Ken and the Skyline team for the support and noisy sleepless nights.

To Rick and Wil for hustling in my main, thanks guys for all the help. I was thinking of asking for another repair but I figured you might never pit for me again LOL.

Papa thanks for having the RV there. My EZ up didn't take that much beating from the wind, and I gotta get a taste of that burger still man.

Jeffrey Lin, thanks for the help on the motor

And finally to Francis M., I couldn't have done it without your help.
BTW, I think the 3rd setting on the front end was the ticket, I just wish I had the time to fine tune it. thanks a lot bro.

if you read the post correctly, it was the mugen challenge races.
which was Jerry Rapp/sedan and Jake Alton/8th scale.
the challenge races were different finals to the Grand prix finals. hope that makes sense

considering he called each and every heat/main, i would say he gets his information straight from the races. Congrats to Jerry and Jake on their wins!

The mugen challenge was a special heat race for non sponsored drivers. The winners for both classes each received brand new Kits.

As for the over all racing Brian Thomas and Scott Kimbrough were the winners.

I think that all big races should have this type of race so that the non sponsored racers have something to look forward to besides a lower main trophy.

Leo V. told you the MSR rear sway bar is the ticket. Next time work on your motor especially in Vegas. It seems like thats the motor tuning is the biggest problem with out of towners racing in vegas.

Scott Kimbrow won the Mugen Grand Prix in 1/8th. Alton won the Mugen challenge in 1/8th.

The Mugen challenge races were held after qualifying was over on Saturday afternoon. The entrants were the top 12 qualifiers that are unsponsored racers.
