Default Has anybody here tried the new Novarossi tires!!

I was wondering if anybody here has tried the new novarossi tire's, and what is the cost on these.

NOVAROSSI WORLD s.r.l. has become the exclusive european distributor for 1:8 and 1:10 200mm Kawahara tires!

Since 2007 NOVAROSSI WORLD s.r.l. we provide the european market with the best japanese tires that are available, these tires have a equal level of quality as our engines.
With that in mind you can expect a tire made with the best possible traction and with less wear.

For 1:8 the tires come with hardnesses starting from 30 shore to 42 shore.
The 1:10 200mm tires starting at 32 shore to 45 shore.

Available for the most populair on-road racing cars.

These tires will be sold through your local NOVAROSSI dealer.

I found them on the novarosii web site..

where can one find Kawahara in the states? or can't you? I've looked for various products from them and can only find them through import.

Here, meaning South FL, I can only reliably find Nitro Shows, GRP, and Twister Tires. Of the 3 I like Nitro Shoes, however alot of people that have tried Kawahara tires say they're probably better than Nitro Shoes...so I ask... WHERE!?

That's why I like Nitro Shoes, but I'm willing to try something once.

correct the zac "kawahara" are good, but just as good as the jaco or grp just more expensive and hard to get, but I think you will just be paying for the name on the box my opinion

Try the Kyosho red box tires. I personally have not tried them yet, but I have heard they are the best tire on the market. The microsystems tires are quite good as well.

I'd have to disagree.....I busted Jaco rims plenty of times and have never busted a Kawahara rim.

As for price, they are as cheep if not cheeper than most brands here in OZ. You need to shop around and find someone that is willing to supply the product and keep supply because once you have used them you wont turn back. They are the only tyres I run now.

honestly, iv'e used the kyosho tyres on my rrr and they were really good but i ran out so i threw on a set of gq tyres (exactly the same shore as kyoshos) and the car felt exactly the same.
there was no noticable difference in lap times either.

the only thing i hate about the kyosho red box tyres is they warp too easily. the inside of the hex is not reinforced enough and a light tap of a board will result in +5 camber when measured with a camber gauge. lucky i changed wheels and re-checked my camber!
pheww....

ohh and if your looking for a strong rim try gq tyres! never buckled or warped a rim!
ever!!!!!
