Default Swing Rack Screw

How would you "buzz" down the swin rack screw? Should I completly take it out and deal with it or just try and file it down where it is? Is it hard to get back in place?

I would take it out and fix it the right way. It might just bite you in the a$$ later on.

Take it out and do it. Otherwise the nylon in the locknut melts and no longer locks anything!
