Default novarossi .12 5port - break-in

Corse-R and others,
Need your help again, just followed what you told me regarding
break-in process. Just during my first tank, I started the engine and turn the high speed needle 3 turns out. Indeed, it was running like a four stroke engine. About half tank of fuel the engine stop. When I tried starting it again the engine wont fire up again. I already check the ff:
- fuel host and fuel goes in the carb
- brand new glow plug - lights very well and my igniter is fullly charge
- I use a brend new ae starter box, by the way my car is ntc3

* I tried also taking out the glow plug, start the engine and there's gas sprouting out.

What could be other possibilities, need your help please.

If the engine flameouts during the middle of the tank, you need to close the main needle (if not, the air-fuel ratio is too rich and floods the engine). Probably you don't need to close the 3 turns and closing some starts again.

Regarding NTC3. Had a terrible pain until I got a correct lenght of the pressure line. You need about 18cm of pressure line (and run the fuel line on the other side of the pipe to not heat on excess the fuel before entering the carb).

BTW: On the NTC3 is necessary. Have you rotated the head 90º degrees to permit the air flow thru the head and cool the plug?

Corse-R,
we found something not right, my idle was set to low and carb opening is to small my friend at the track helped me he set the opening a little and we were succesful starting the engine up to 3 tanks. However after that my turbo glow plug expired. I think its normal right?

My fuel line is short so I will buy a new one as you recommended
and place it accordingly.

With regards to the engine head, I have not rotated this. Honestly, I'm afraid to touch any adjustment from the engine. But from the experienced point of view like you, I will take your advice.
I will let you know the outcome.

I will continue the break in process this weekend. It will be my 4th tank now. I just bought 2 (no 6) glow plug just in case.

If you have any other suggestions, I will really appreciate it.

Many thanks, again and again.

Think on the plugs like light bulbs, you never know when they fail. Can last from 5 seconds to 5 years is a matter of luck. Keep ever some spares on your toolbox, is very frustrating pack your car because you don't have the plug to change the broken one.

You might need to rotate 90 degrees the finned head and put in the correct direction the air passage on the head that cools the plug, this may be the cause of your blowed plug. To do this, loosen the 4 flat screws that locks the head and rotate 90 degrees, don't dissasemble the plug button (tip: if you dissasemble, before this, do a mark on it pointing the side that goes on the exhaust in order to assemble on the same place that came and you used on your engine) then tighten the 4 screws another time (do it on 'opposite pattern) - I.E: you tighten the one that points at North, then the one at South, East and West. Do it on small increments to seat properly the head.

BTW: If you run more than 20% Nitro, the plug shouldn't be suitable and the combustion head can be a little small needing to add one 0.1mm shim. For 25 and 30% probably the best plugs you can get are the #7Cold and #8Cold.

Can't wait til Saturday, I sneaked today at my work and at my office carpark I tried starting the engine again. Once again it won't start, i'm at a lost again. I used 25% trinity fuel and everything seems ok; glow plug is new, ther'e fuel going in the carb, my igniter is fully charged, I tested it the coil is flaming orange. I'm beginning to loose my patience. I'll try again tonight at home.
