Does anyone have links to the Proline gun? I didn't see them on the website.

Sorry to say so, but its slow and the nozzle is to big. (outcome from the Worlds)

At the worlds you see (in general) 3 types of fuel guns:
  • R&B
  • Novarossi
  • Collary

We use the R&B since we stopped using the Xceed.

Yes, you can see when filling 2 cars at the same time with 2 different guns the RB is the fastest of them all. OK, the RB does leak a bit but that will not take away the only important thing that it will make the pitstop fast.

Last weekend I did see the Exceed (and all other copies and same make) will damage the the edge of the tank hole because the air tubes will rub the edge.

How will the Xceed fuel gun damage the fuel tank? it does not even have any air tubes sticking out

The reason why the Xceed gun leaks is because the air tubes inside have cracks in them. All you need to do is solder them and its good as new. Air tubes damaging the tank can you show us some examples. I think everyone would like to see........

this is the Xceed Gun that we in the US are using. Not sure about the gun your showing. Is that an Exceed or Xceed Gun.

i am sorry. But, I haven't seen this happen yet. I used it for almost few months, and few other racers I know also like it.

The only way these small air tubes can damage the tank is if you really forcefully press them against the edge of the tank inlet. In such case, any fuel guns can damage the fuel tank.

As far as performance, in my opinion, it is really negligible. Pit in/out in my track takes about 4-5 sec. Most of time is wasted in the pit lane. Not the fueling process.

I agree with TK... (Sam?) this is not an Xceed gun. The Xceed does not have any tubes ON the nozzle.

Bt the way, you can improve the gun a bit by taking of 1cm of the nozzle. Saves you about 3cc.
