Nova .21 wont start

I got a nova .21 rebuilt and I need to run itt in. I cant start it so I think the carb valves are way off. I cant find the factory settings...the carb has been discontinued for a while. What would be a ball park setting? Im thinking I can find settings for the newer carbs for a ballpark.(I cant find them on the paris site anymore...where are some more?)
It is a 9mm metal bodied 2 adj carb...it had a top logo on it.

A good ballpark figure would be 2.5 turns out for both needles and if it still doesnt start try going 3 turns out.

Well... I finally got it fired up with enough fooling around...Heat cycled it once...then my glow starter died(Now im wishing I didnt give away my dry cell one)

btw... How long does a 600mah NiCd reciever pack last when not in use? I charged it about 3 weeks ago and only used it to get my M8 calibrated. I dont trust my TRS, and on top of that my dyna failsafe isnt M8 compatable.

I use a 600mah receiver battery myself. A lot lighter and lasts long enough. I charged mine last Saturday (1st March) and it has been used several times between then and now and still has enough power to work the servos at full speed.

I would say thats long enough.:)

Thanks, I have a hitec HS925MG hi-torque as a steering servo(battery hog) so I need to stay on top of it.
