Folks we are using a temporary large carpark for the while and I am looking for some challenging track courses to put in place for our upcoming season, any ideas or can you all send me to a good site for course designs we are currently limited to 1/10 nitro and electric
thanks |
You can use the Track Maker, Its very easy to use.
I don't know where you can get it. I have it but I dont know how to attach it. Can anyone help please. |
What are the dimensions of your parking lot and do you have any pictures/drawings of the types of layouts you've been using?

thanks We ran a 18 race yearly series and had 2 lay-outs per year (9 races each). In order to get your club members to make a submission you could offer the winner submitter a prize of no entry fee or something to that effect. |
One thing to keep in mind, is that ROAR rules specify a miminum lane width. For 1/10th on-road paved electric and fuel, it's 10 feet. Adhering to this rule helps prevent people from designing tracks that are actually more suitable for 1/12th scale cars.
The farther the location of the track, the wider it should be. In other words, when you're standing on the drivers stand, 10 feet actually looks narrower than it really is. Depending on how far away it is, you may want to make the lane 15-20 feet wide. Sweeping or technical? It's really up to your club, but make sure you include at least one long straight. Two is good, if you have the space. Make sure you make provisions for turn marshalls. |

The biggest deal is to make sure the outside walls are thick and tall enough. This required heavy wood but it would stop the cars. |
