I do not want Ray to stop doing what he is doing so let's all support him.
I think what Ray doesn't like is ONE person buys his DVD and then shares/lends the DVD to others and in so doing reducing sales of his DVD. This would be a shame because it takes a lot of time, effort and creativity to make a DVD like he does and if he only sells one to each city he will not be producing more DVDs in the future.
We already have minimal coverage of events around the world on the net, almost nothing on TV, getting news for websites like 3hobby was near impossible for major events so if the only chance is the DVD from Ray and he stops then its going to be sad day for the hobby.
So, if your friend recorded it for Ray then I can understand if he does not want to share it. Actually even if he didn't record it for Ray and does not want to share it, its also his own choice. I just see these sharing activity as one way to promote our sport/hobby.

No one can match Ray Wood's DVDs. If the A-Main video file was meant for Ray to use then OK, this is a good idea not to be sharing it. I did this when we were at the Euros last year, I used my camera to record one angle from the A-Final and I sent the tape to Ray. I used only footage from my other tapes for 3hobby.net.
