sanding...why didn't I think of that *slaps face* that's exactly what i think the problem is. Yes I am getting it INTO the tire bead by lifting the tire from the rim edge and putting glue between where the tire meets the rim.

That has got to be it. Thanks all.

BTW: I have a TM G4S RTR on the way, but I was wondering...does it come with foam tires? It looks like it from the pics...anyway what is a good replacement set of foams for that car since I know they'll get torn up after a while.

Hpi has some good tires thats for sure. Did you try the oil trick or grip compounds too? Either way a brand new hpi tire normally comes pretty well oiled , you can see it in the bag.

They should last you awhile and yeah sand it to rough it up so the glue can help grip it. Might want to try a different glue too , because ive never had a tire come off.

It's CA+ Glue that the LHS recommended to me. He uses it for his practice tires for when he races and said he never had trouble. It has to be sanding.

Any suggestions about Foams for mt G4S? I know they won't last very long and I would like to have a replacement set. This car will be my racer. I'm not getting into sanctioned events right now, but I am going to break in the engine and whatnot by the house so if I rip the tires up I want to have a good set to replace them. Some people like GRP and some people say I should just go with Jaco Nitro Shoes. I don't even know what shore come on the RTR G4S.
