I'm led to believe the STS quality is not the Best!

Default sts rs3

don't know about the mt-12 or sts-12, if it's the RS3 and RS5, I think these are the premium engines from STS.
I have the RS3 and it runs very hard and still idles very well and easy to tune too. maybe b'cos it's a normal standard glowplug and not turbo :-)

I like it.

Default racerchan:

Does your s3 have any leaking problems at the glow plug area or the bearing area? I'm asking because my previous sts rs12 hand mod did.

Thanks.

And that is how rumors happen. I have the sts mt12 and it runs great. It never gives me problems. Im buying another sts when it's time for a new engine.

Default 5 port, turbo plug version?

Below average quality and average to good performance. Make your own judgement and use your comment sense when you decided. It seems that they have some glitchs with turbo plug. Their support forum: http://www.teamcrc.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=10

Default sts rs3

now I don't know what r3 (or something) you guys are talking about. . .
go to the teamcrc website and see for yourself the REAL modified one is RS3 (AFAIK) :-)
2 of them and not a single glitch. one for racing and the other for whacking the other big boys :-) maybe it's how I look after my engines. I clean them and check for oil / air leaks fortnightly.

it's CHEAP anyway and I like to run these cheap engines AS LEAN AS POSSIBLE. as I mentioned before 3 gallons or more thru it and still good compression and most impressive of all idles real great. I have seen an RS5 run yesterday at the track, very punchy too.

as I mentioned before, I have the ones with the black boxes (newer improved version) ?? I don't know but they NEVER LEAKED abit.
if after 10 gallons and still good, I'll buy another one LOL. . .

. . . where's Taiwan guy Dino ?? he should say something here :-)

I hear nothing but good things about the STS Mills. A lot of guys at my LHS run these in competition. They are very competitive and affordable.
