Roam the pits and see what guys are doing with there motors Pooh. Thats the only way to get more speed going. The tricks with brushes and springs. I'm still trying to figure it out, but gaining a bit more knowledge as things move along. I've found running electric to be the cure for northeast winters and nitro withdrawl.

It ain't gonna come overnight Pooh. There's a lot of research, trial and error that u will have to do in electric b4 u may get what u really want with power. Just be patient and it will all come in time.

Now you know why I've been pushing everyone to run 1/12th modified versus stock. even 19t would be an improvement. Stop by my area next time Pooh...we'll get you some HP

AMEN!!!

Modified is a true test of driving skill because you have way too much speed for most of the track. You have to think about where you start braking because if you don't you'll drive right past the corner. Mod is also closer to the power/weight ratio of 1/8 scale. If you really want to smooth out your nitro driving try driving a 1/12 mod.

In stock the motors are important but the real difference is batteries. I've had 3 different types of motors and 6 sets of brushes and the best I can see is a tenth. Change cells and I can get a second out of them!
